Going global in China: Tradeshift leader wins Entrepreneur of the Year award

November 7, 2017 Haley Fraser

We are thrilled to announce that our SVP APAC and Co-Founder, Mikkel Hippe Brun has been selected as the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China at their 11th annual awards ceremony. This award is meant to “highlight individuals who demonstrated outstanding performances in the development of Danish businesses in China.”

The Danish Chamber of Commerce in China was created in 1931, to promote and protect Danish commercial, industrial and shipping interests in Shanghai and to communicate in this regard with the authorities and others.

Tradeshift’s presence in China isn’t exactly new. Back in 2014, Mikkel spoke at China International Software & Information Service on removing technological barriers associated with commerce. Our strategy to grow trust and expand trade in China is key to enabling commerce for all.

We are very proud of our progress in China, along with our Danish roots as an organization, and look forward to continuing to pioneer commerce for all in the region.
