Christian Lanng in conversation with Jack Cassel

July 2, 2020 Christian Lanng

I recently spoke with Vice President of New Listings and Capital Markets at Nasdaq, Jack Cassel. He oversees all new listings and switches for the Western US. Prior to joining Nasdaq, Jack was a Vice President at GrowthPoint Technology Partners, a boutique investment bank that provides M&A and strategic advisory services to technology companies around the globe. And before that he played baseball for the Padres and the Astros.

Jack and I dove into the rollercoaster of a year it has been for investing and how there has been a surprising resilience from private companies jumping the line to go public. We also touched on Jack’s career as a professional ballplayer, his work founding a non-profit with other professional athletes, and how these experiences prepared him for a future in business. Enjoy!

See who else I'm speaking with in the coming weeks and join the conversation.
