Kuehne + Nagel has received yet another award for its industry-leading SCF solution. The long-term Tradeshift customer picked up the award for having the best SCF program in the Transport and Logistics industry at the 2018 Supply Chain Finance Awards. The win comes hot on the heels of Kuehne + Nagel’s win at Treasury Today’s Adam Smith Awards last year.

The awards, organized by Adaugeo Media on behalf of the Supply Chain Finance Community, are a benchmark for excellence in the SCF space. Kuehne + Nagel bested a strong field of applications from across the world to take home the award.

There were many aspects of the solution that impressed the independent judging panel of esteemed industry experts. Most notably, they said “the existing e-invoicing platform that had been developed with Tradeshift served as the perfect launchpad for the SCF program provided by Citi.” They also mentioned how “the whole program is enhancing the relationship between buyers and suppliers.”

Since it first launched in the UK in 2015, Kuehne + Nagel’s supply chain finance solution has gone from strength to strength. It’s now live in 14 countries and over 300 suppliers are enjoying the benefits of early payment. The focus is now on ramping up the solution, rolling it out in more markets and to new suppliers.

“We’re delighted to see Kuehne + Nagel pick up another award for its exceptional SCF solution,” says Andrew Jesse, Vice President, Global Fintech and Banking Alliances at Tradeshift. “The solution shows the immense value created when banks, Fintechs and corporates work together. We’re excited to continue working with Kuehne + Nagel, Citi and all our other clients and partners as we ramp up our early payment offering to continue to deliver best in class solutions.”
