Christian Lanng, Co-founder and CEO at Tradeshift, discusses the outlook for supply chain payments. He speaks with Shery Ahn on the sidelines of Bloomberg's New Economy Forum.
Christian spoke at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum earlier this week about the future of supply chain payments. He spoke about the spike in orders that are stressing the system right now and the perils of just-in-time manufacturing.
He stressed the urgent need for digitization and the fact that most global supply chains are still analog. “If you’re a CEO, the data you’re looking at right now is four, six—eight weeks old and that’s what you’re reacting to.”
